69 young people
56 pupils + 13 university students whose education hangs in the balance right now.
♡ A grassroots fundraiser for Flores, Indonesia
For as little as €85, you can give a child in Flores, Indonesia, a full year of education — and a real chance to break the cycle of poverty.
100% of donations go directly to the students.
The urgent reality
Education in Flores is officially free — but staying in school is not. These are the stakes, in plain numbers.
56 pupils + 13 university students whose education hangs in the balance right now.
Families still have to pay for administration, materials, uniforms and transport — and they can't afford it.
Without help, every one of these 69 students has to leave school.
The funds must be ready before the new school year — there is no time to lose.
How little it takes
The cost depends on the student's school level, so a single donation can cover one student's entire year. Together, ~€25,300 keeps all 69 students in school.
One donation can cover all needs of one student for a full year. Want the grand total? ~€25,300 funds all 69 students.

Donations collected via GoFundMe flow directly into a separate bank account that is used for this fundraiser only.
End of July, the organizer travels to Flores for 2 months and hands over the donations together with local partner Florian Lengu.
Everything is shared on Instagram, YouTube and this website, so you can see your impact.
Founded in 2017 and granted an official government legal permit in 2024, the foundation led by Florian Lengu has helped 305 children stay in school — alongside past projects bringing water tanks, solar lights and housing to families in need.
"I just want other children to experience what I once received — the gift of education and hope."
About the organizer
Originally from Germany, I now live in Vienna, where I study interpreting. One day, sitting in an interpreting booth, it hit me: I didn't only want to translate other people's impact — I wanted to create some of my own.
I chose to start with a fundraiser for these kids for two reasons: First, I've been to Flores before and have seen the reality with my own eyes. Second, I truly believe that education can empower entire generations and is key to creating a better future for everyone.
You don't need to have it all figured out. It's all about starting.
